I like to live my life by the philosophy that you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes. They are my ultimate favourite makeup item and my weakness. So today I have compiled a list of all my favourites, both budget friendly and not so budget friendly, to share with you. This will be a very picture-heavy post so prepare for an abundance of shimmery, neutral eyeshadows. You have been warned...

The One For Beginners
If you're starting out in makeup then the MUA Undressed palette is ideal. At just £4 for 12 shades, it's very affordable but good quality. The packaging is nothing special but it houses a range of wearable neutral colours including pinks, golds, browns and a blue so you can create a variety of looks. This palette is a blatant dupe for the original Urban Decay Naked palette (even the colours are laid out in the same order) so if you've been considering that but don't quite have the budget to spend £37, this is definitely worth picking up.

The Best Bargain
At just £3.19 the Little Mix All About The Eyes palette from Collection is an absolute steal. The quality of these shadows is amazing: very soft, pigmented and easy to blend. They feel far more expensive than they actually are. Not to mention the six shades inside are absolutely beautiful and pretty good dupes for a few in the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette (I compare them both side-by-side here, you'd seriously be amazed at how similar they are).

Best For Travelling
One palette that's very famous in the blogging world, and rightly so, is the Urban Decay Naked Basics. With 5 matte shades and 1 slightly shimmery hightlight, this dinky little palette is unbelievably versatile. It includes colours which can be doubled up as eyebrow shades and liners as well as sturdy packaging and a decent sized mirror which makes it perfect for taking away with you. I won't waffle on too much about this as I mentioned it last week in this post and I don't want to bore you.

The All-In-One Kit
One of my all-time favourites but one that doesn't get much love in the blogging world is the Benefit World Famous Neutrals, Most Glamorous Nudes Ever Eyeshadow Kit - phew, what a mouthful. The reason I love this so much is because it not only has 4 gorgeous powder eyeshadows but two of Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadows, two cards with ideas for day time and night time eyeshadow looks and a handy mirror all in one little kit. At £23.50 I think this is definitely worth the money due to how many different looks you can get from this and the mini tutorials for if you're unsure how to use the colours.

The One Everyone Should Own
If there's one makeup item I think every girl should have in her arsenal, it's an Urban Decay Naked palette (or three, why not?). The quality is amazing and the shades are so versatile you can create really natural every day looks or dramatic smokey eyes and everything in between. My personal favourite is the Naked 2 but there's three to choose from based on your skin tone, eye colour and personal preference so they're definitely worth investing in.

Phew...I told you it was going to be a hefty post. I hope you enjoyed that insight into my favourite eyeshadow palettes, I'm sure I'll do an updated one at some point considering that my collection is ever-growing.
