I've never been a brow powder kinda gal, I've always found them a bit faffy and time consuming. But I was browsing the Benefit counter the other day when I spotted the famous Brow Zings Brow Shaping Kit so I bit the bullet and bought it. What can I say? I live life on the edge.

The compact itself is dinkier than I expected but inside you get a wax, a powder, a mini pair of tweezers, two mini brushes and a decent sized mirror (and it makes a really satisfying snap sound when you close it - it that weird?). Plus, considering how little product you use each time this kit should last yonks so the £24.50 price tag doesn't seem quite so bad. The idea is that you use the wax to shape your brows and then the powder to set it but I prefer using the powder first to fill in my brows and then using the wax to neaten up the edges. I've been using my Zoeva Wing Liner Brush to apply this but the mini brushes and tweezers it comes with are handy to have for when you're on the go. Although it's a little trickier to use than my beloved Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil, I really really like the finish of this. It looks very natural, the colour is a near perfect match (I use 'dark') and it lasts all day without smudging or moving which is great seeing as I don't want my eyebrows to end up on my chin. However, for quick and easy application, the Soap and Glory pencil still wins.

Have you tried this? What did you think?
