YET ANOTHER COLOURPOP HAUL

It's no secret that I love me a bit of Colourpop. Their products are seriously high quality, very affordable, and they release new stuff constantly so I have no choice but to keep making orders. My hands are tied. Especially since they've done away with having to pay massive customs bills before you can actually get your package so it's now even cheaper for us Brits to order from their website.

There were a couple of Colourpop goodies on my Christmas list, one of which was the Crush On You Super Shock Highlighter Palette. We all know by now that Super Shock Highlighters are my favourite highlighters ever so I was very excited to unwrap this on Christmas Day (thanks mum, love u). They have such a unique, buttery texture so they blend seamlessly into the skin which is especially good for this time of year when my skin is mad dry and powder highlighters can look chalky and gross. There's a mix of cooler pink/white shades and warmer bronzey/gold tones that means you can match this palette with any makeup.

Matte liquid lipsticks were all the rage a couple of years ago and, I'll be honest, I hopped on that bandwagon like everyone else but I'm kind of over them now. I've gone running back to traditional bullet lipsticks and I'm so sorry I ever left you, my loves. Colourpop's Creme Lux Lipsticks is one of the best formulas I've tried: they're lightweight, comfortable, hydrating and creamy. Obviously not as long lasting as a matte formula but they wear off gradually and gracefully and can easily be slicked back on. Appy is a pale, peachy nude and LA Lady is a deep, rosy brown - both classic Lucy shades that I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of. I'm also a sucker for pretty packaging (because I'm shallow) so the rose gold tubes and star pattern on the bullets make me very happy.

Finally, a brown eyeshadow palette. Doesn't sound particularly groundbreaking but hear me out. For the last couple of years, 'neutral' eyeshadow palettes have been very warm-toned and stuffed with orangey/reddy/pinky shades which I love, don't get me wrong, I'm an absolute slut for a sunset-toned eye. But, every now and then you just want some easy, basic, neutral browns. The Brown Sugar Eyeshadow Palette is really well put together with the perfect mix of cool and warm, light and dark, and matte and metallic. Eyeshadow palettes seem to be getting bigger and bigger at the moment, so a little 9-pan palette like this is quite refreshing. And, as always, Colourpop's formula is spot on.

Obviously Colourpop have released 4638957 new things since I got this lot so it probably won't be long until my next haul.

Thanks for reading, Lucy x
