Unfortunately for my bank account, Colourpop are constantly bringing out new launches which I have to try because I'm obsessed. So, if you thought I was going to leave my Colourpop posts in 2017 then you were very wrong. Soz.

One of the new products I was most excited for was the Dream St. Palette created by YouTube queen Kathleen Lights. I've talked about Colourpop's pressed shadow formula a few times on this blog but for the price I think it's one of the best available. The mattes and shimmers alike are smooth, soft, pigmented and blend effortlessly. Plus, out of all of Colourpop's eyeshadow palettes I think this one is my favourite in terms of the colour selection. Obviously the warm neutrals, matte brown transition shades and rosy metallics are going to be well-used but I love the inclusion of some bolder, more unique colours as well. Spark is a bright pinky-red, Mermaid Boy is a vibrant metallic teal and Kaledioscope is just shimmery pink/blue/silver duochrome magic.

Colourpop have also brought out loose highlighters recently in the form of their Luster Dusts. I got the shade Gnomie which is a pale, pinky, champagne shade with some serious glow. This is the most blinding highlight I own and does contain glitter, which I know not everyone is a fan of, so if you're after something subtle this is not the one. But, for a night out (or everyday, why not?) this is a stunning, sparkly, shiny highlight.

Finally, I picked up three of the Supernova Shadows which are shimmery liquid eyeshadows similar to the Stila Magnificent Metals but at a fraction of the price. Initially I found these a little tricky to work with but after a couple of uses I got the hang of them. The base isn't completely opaque so these are best used as toppers over eyeshadow to add some extra sparkle rather than by themselves. I'd also recommend applying these as the very last step in your eyeshadow - I went back and did some more blending in my crease after putting one of these on my lid but it just brushed away most of the product. That said, once you get the hang of applying them, these are seriously pretty and add extra dimension to your eye look.

So, another successful Colourpop haul. Stay tuned for another one probably very soon...
