Because I have the world's shortest attention span and am constantly trying out new products, I change up my everyday makeup routine pretty frequently. Today I'm talking about what I'm currently slapping on my face most days for uni.

After a brief fling with the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer I've gone back to my trusty Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot. Honestly, I'm still not 100% convinced that primer does anything for makeup longevity but it does make a nice, smooth base to apply foundation over and as much as I liked the Fenty one, I don't think it's worth the price tag. The It Cosmetics CC Cream was my foundation of choice all summer and I'm still digging it. I just love how natural and glowy it makes my skin look - this truly is the king of 'your skin but better' foundations. Then I whack on some of the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer because as much as I want to be able to wear a light coverage foundation and nothing else, I just can't. I've been using the Kat Von D Blotting Powder to set my makeup and she does the job but she's nothing special I'm afraid. Once this runs out I'm going to treat myself to the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder me thinks...

I've been skipping the contour recently and just going in with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Bronzer in Rosewood. I bought this when I was in Canada last summer and it was perfect when I was all tanned and beautiful but in England I'm pale and gross and this is probably a bit too warm-toned for me. Nevertheless, I'm making it work. But, if ABH want to bring out a lighter/cooler shade I wouldn't complain. Apparently I can't write a post without mentioning the Colourpop Super Shock Highlighters - very sorry about that - but Scrumptious is my go-to at the moment. It's a soft, pearly pink shade that's shiny without being glittery that I like to pile on my cheekbones, nose, chin, and basically everywhere. My goal is to be so glowy that people probably just think I'm sweaty.

Unfortunately, my one true love the Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil was sold out the other day so I grabbed the NYX Micro Brow Pencil instead which is almost identical but *sigh* it's just not the same. I set my brows with the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara because when you've got eyebrows as unruly as me, you can't just fill them in and leave it at that. I'm still using the NYX Worth the Hype Mascara. It's lengthening, volumising, long-lasting and doesn't smell weird - what more could you want from a mascara? Then I usually just slap on a bit of lip balm and I'm good to go.

It's a bit more natural than what I usually go for but when you're hungover and have lectures to attend, who's got time for eyeshadow?
